I liked your soundscape a lot. I really enjoyed your use of similarities with the voices. The reverb on the voices added a large sense of space and created the illusion that the voices were in a large cave or in a large empty room. The gun shots break the similarity and add an anomaly that grabs attention and causes the listener to pay attention instead of going into a trance. The laughing seem a lot closer than the voices because of the fact that there is less reverb on the laughing than the voices. The bubbles are also changed, as it sounds that they have distortion and are closer than the reverb voices and even the kids laughing. Your effects really add to the overall story of the soundscape, and the soundscape ends up sounding sad and angry because of all of them. I really enjoyed the dark feeling of the soundscape and your clever use of all of the principles that we had covered in class. It was a good job using all of the given sounds and Garageband and I look forward to more great work from you two.
